As I was completing my Bachelors in Science, I was debating whether to pursue theological
education before I entered into ministry. As I was reading the Scriptures, I noticed that one of the
ministries was that of a teacher (Ephesians 4:11). It was then that I realized that if there are
teachers, there ought to be students and that I cannot aspire to be a teacher, without first being a student.
As I kept on reading the Scriptures, I observed Peter writing that some of Paul’s writing are difficult
to understand and those who are ‘untaught’ and ‘unstable’ were twisting it, just as they were
twisting the other Scriptures (2 Peter 3:16b). I realized that if I was ‘untaught’, I would also twist the
Scriptures. I was convinced by these scriptures to become a student.
God in His grace led me to complete Th.M (New Testament & Missions) at Dallas Theological
Seminary, Texas for 4 years. Not a day has passed in my 17 years of ministry, where I have not
thanked God for this education. In addition to it, I am able to see first-hand, the impact of theological
education on my students and graduates.
So, if you are considering to minister, I would whole heartedly recommend you to pursue theological
education at Harvesters Theological College & Seminary.
